Emmerdale airs tense scenes next week, as Gabby Thomas tells a shocking lie about Liam Cavanagh.
She threatens to tear him and girlfriend Leyla Harding apart for good, as her plan to keep Leyla close leads to an unforgivable claim.
Gabby lands her former stepfather in it next week, before suggesting something has happened between them.
Recently, Liam discovered Gabby was up to no good and trying to make Leyla think he was playing away.
As she explained why she was getting so close to her, Liam warned her to stay away from Leyla.
But Gabby hasn't followed this, and instead has continued to steal Leyla for herself - despite Liam warning her.
Next week, the pair end up rowing after Gabby accepts another lunch date with his girlfriend.
Leyla soon notices the pair acting strangely around each other, and it isn't long before suspicions fall.
Soon, Gabby and Liam are having it out, with the teen laying into him.
Leyla enters though, and suddenly asks to speak with Gabby in private - convinced something is going on between them.
She asks Gabby if Liam has taken advantage of her, worried he may be to blame for their argument.
Shockingly, Gabby hints that this is the case as she refuses to deny what is going on - knowing it isn't true.
Leyla rails at her partner over the apparent discovery, leading to him protesting his innocence.
She doesn't believe him at all though - but will Gabby tell the truth, or is it over for good for the couple?
