Emmerdale viewers were left far from impressed at Chas and Cain Dingle after their ‘pathetic’ reaction to Faith’s cancer returning.
Faith recently discovered her cancer had come back however, she only told Moira and refused to tell her children. She was determined to fix her relationship with the pair first before the truth was revealed however her plan didn’t quite pan out.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV soap, tension was high as Faith celebrated her birthday in the pub. Cain decided to make an appearance after some persuasion from Moira.

As expected, his attitude towards Faith still didn’t change as he continued making harsh comments and thought the reason she was feeling unwell was because she had drank too much.
Faith stood her ground as Cain hurled abuse at her, putting on a brave face as she really just wanted to enjoy her day. When Cain made a comment about wanting Faith to drop dead, that was the final straw. Faith then told them all her cancer has come back and this time, it’s terminal.
However Chas then put two and two together and discovered that Moira had known about it all this whole time. Viewers were left furious at their 'pathetic' reaction as Cain even revealed that he wished Faith wasn’t his mother.

While @griannedoherty added: “Stereotype Cain Dingle reaction what a surprise NOT. Even now he's still saying he wishes Faith wasn't his Mum really? What if that was Debbie? Or one of his boys saying that to him? Deserves a right f****** slap he does seriously #Emmerdale.”
