Emmerdale's Dingle family face new feud as Caleb's next move risks Nate and Cain fallout

Emmerdale could air another big falling out for the Dingle family over Caleb Miligan. Things are still frosty between Caleb and the Dingles after his betrayal.

Caleb is the half-brother of Cain and Chas Dingle, but it was recently confirmed that his father was Frank Tate - after their mother Faith Dingle had an affair with him.

Newcomer Caleb and his son Nicky recently took on a secret mission to destroy Kim Tate, Frank's ex, over his death, with the plan to steal all of her money. Caleb believed Home Farm and Kim's fortune was rightly his, and they lied to the Dingles and other residents to carry out their revenge plan.

In the fallout, Cain has been at war with Caleb and is yet to forgive him. So his next move which involves Cain's son Nate could be a bad one for the time being.

It comes amid financial issues at the farm run by Cain and his wife Moira Dingle, where Nate works with Moira's brother Mack. The financial issues have been ongoing but were worsened by Caleb sabotaging the farm to get his hand on their land.

As Nate and new wife Tracy panic about him possibly losing his job as a result of the issues, especially with them having a young daughter, Caleb makes them an offer they might not be able to refuse.

Caleb, loaded with money despite recent lies that he was broke, decides to help Tracy with her new business venture. Tracy needs a loan to start her new nursery business in the village.

Tracy is struggling to find an investor and when Caleb hears this, he soon offers to invest in her plans. Tracy is obviously torn given the history between him and her new family.

Nate’s frustrated with Tracy when it looks like she’s tempted to go into business with Caleb, as he knows full well it could upset his father Cain. Nate and Cain are on track, but in the past they have had a fractured relationship so Nate doesn't want to risk anything.

Tracy accuses Nate of caring more for Cain’s feelings than the welfare of his family, believing Caleb's help is what they need. More news about the farm later leads to Tracy making an awkward decision.

Learning Nate might lose his job, she is straight on to the phone to Caleb and accepts his offer of help. With Nate no longer having a leg to stand on, how will Cain take the news?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
