Emmerdale's Dingle family comes under fire from fans

Fans were furious yet again while watching tonight's Emmerdale.

The Dingle family were under fire for a second time as they seem to be ganging up against innocent Liv Flaherty who has found herself in a jail cell after being falsely accused of Ben Tucker's murder.

Tonight's episode saw Mandy give the youngster a visit to discuss her relationship with Vinny.

Liv had been dating Vinny prior to being arrested and continued to count on him for extra support during her ordeal.

But Mandy didn't like what Liv was putting her son through and decided to share a piece of her mind.

She asked Liv: "Do you care about him, like really care about him?"

Liv said of course she did as Mandy continued: "Do you want him to loose his freedom like you've lost yours?"

She added: "Don't you think he's been through enough?"

Liv replied that he's the only one who's been there for her and she needs him.

Mandy said that she couldn't watch him go through any more pain and Liv agreed as she said: "I don't want that either."

Liv asked: "Do you think I should stop his visits?" to which Mandy replied as that she needs to call him, as she stood up and left.

Fans shared on Twitter how they were disappointed in the recent treatment of Liv by the Dingles, as they questioned what had happened to the "Dingle Code."

Katie said: "Omg. Mandy is trying to stop Vinny helping Liv. What happened to been a Dingle and sticking together, poor Liv."

Kate said: "How evil are the Dingles to Liv! It’s a disgrace she is innocent and they’ve all abandoned her. Never even questioned her being charged? Still can’t understand how the oar hasn’t got Meena’s DNA all over it #Emmerdale."

Dan said: "First Chas being a cow to liv now Mandy, they’re so disgusting so much for the dingle code and looking out for there own they’re so stupid she’s innocent and should believe her. Vinny the only good one out of them #emmerdale."

Vinny later turned up at the prison hoping to visit Liv but he was told by a guard that it had been cancelled and he was taken off the visiting list.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV and ITVHub with an extra episode on Thursdays at 8pm
