Emmerdale's 'dimwit' police and their questionable track record under-fire from fans

Emmerdale’s police and their sketchy track record has been brought into question once again by fans of the soap.

Friday evening’s episode focused on the investigation into who committed the hit-and-run which left Alex fighting for his life. The latest edition concluded with vicar Charles Anderson being arrested and cited as the perpetrator.

Fans of the soap know Billy is actually responsible. Not to give them too much of a kicking but, down the years, Emmerdale’s coppers have often been wide-of-the-mark with their investigations.

Many Emmerdale fans have taken to Twitter to draw attention to their latest error. One viewer @ifrainsank said: “#emmerdale yet again, the soap opera police strike. As per usual, they got the wrong guy.”

While @errolloydgraham added: “Just watched emmerdale lol why are these cops on TV soaps are all idiots.” Another viewer @Rosepetal98_ wrote: “The Police care more about #Alex than catching killers like #Meena! #Charles #Emmerdale.”
