Emmerdale's Debbie Dingle 'confirms exit' as she drops bombshell on Chas

Emmerdale’s Debbie Dingle may have revealed her exit from the ITV soap, after confessing plans to leave the Dales.

Pregnant actress Charley Webb is now on maternity leave, taking a break from the role as she prepares to welcome her third child with husband and co-star Matthew Wolfenden.

Ahead of Debbie’s final scenes, which appear to have been filmed recently, the character dropped big news on her aunt Chas Dingle.

Debbie was clearly harbouring a secret, appearing a little distant only for Chas to notice.

As she grilled her niece over what she was hiding, Debbie revealed all and stated she was likely to be moving to Scotland.

Viewers recently saw Debbie and Belle Dingle learn that Belle’s late mother Lisa Dingle had left them something in her will.

Lisa passed away recently after illness, and didn’t have time to tell the family that she had a garage in Scotland, where she’d been living for the past year with husband Zak Dingle.

Debbie and Belle soon learned about the new business that had been left in their names in the document.

The girls discussed the opportunity, but appeared to decide to stay in the Dales.

It’s now been teased by Debbie that she wants a fresh start, telling Chas she planned to move to Scotland after recent drama with her father Cain.

Chas was shocked to hear Debbie was potentially leaving, which would make way for actress Charley’s maternity leave storyline.

She told Debbie they needed to discuss it while her full plans are yet to be revealed.

Cain would no doubt be gutted to see his daughter leave just after they finally made up, after Debbie believed her dad had killed her fiancé back in October only to learn Joe Tate was still alive and on the run.

Emmerdale airs all week at 7pm on ITV, with extra episodes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8pm.
