Emmerdale star Danny Miller has 'snubbed' the British Soap Awards to watch his beloved football team Liverpool play in Madrid.
The actor, who because he'd not won since 2016, has made his priorities clear this year and picking football over attending the annual event, which is being held in Manchester this year.
Danny pleaded to his followers on Twitter for help securing tickets to see Liverpool play Tottenham Tottenham in the Champion League final hosted at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in the Spanish city.
He revealed he'd bought 'fake tickets' and was desperate to attend to support his team in the match which clashes with the Soap Awards on Saturday night.

The 28-year-old wrote: "Ok, so I was sold two fake tickets to the THFC v LFC LFC final in Madrid - although my egos taken a hammering, I still want to go.
"Can ANYONE help me source another one? Please? I know they’re like Goldust but I’m in need of a favour. Not asking for a freebie. Just a ticket."
Danny, who picked up a Best Actor award in 2016 for his role as Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap, is yet to confirm he is in Spain but with kick-off tomorrow it's thought that he will be on his way.
Mirror Online have contacted Danny's reps for comment.

The Stockport actor has scooped the Best Actor role three times, but this year fans called for his dismissal from Emmerdale because of foul-mouthed rant.
During a 30-minute video livestreamed from his Instagram account, Danny repeatedly declared "f**k the Soap Awards," and joked that his career was over as his friends attempted to intervene.
Danny appeared to be in a restaurant with pals when the stream went live, and - according to the Sun - other diners complained about his bizarre behaviour, to which Danny told them: "Get out the shot, I've got a British Soap Award."
He took issue with not winning a gong since 2016, when he picked up the Best Actor and Best Male Dramatic Performance gongs at the prestigious event, and told followers who challenged his behaviour to "f**k off".
