Emmerdale star Danny Miller came to the rescue of a distressed man who was preparing to jump off a bridge, say reports.
The ITV soap star, who is best known for his role as Aaron Dingle, reportedly talked to the man on the bridge after approaching him on a motorway in Audenshaw, Manchester.
Danny, 30, shared his own mental health battle with the man and even offered him his number as support, The Mirror reports.

The eyewitness added: "The young man eventually stepped back and they shared a hug. They exchanged numbers and Danny told him to contact him whenever he needed him."
It comes after Danny announced the happy news that he is expecting a baby with his childhood sweetheart Steph Jones.
The pair told fans they were expecting 'Baby Miller' in May as they shared a sonogram picture to Instagram.
The couple first met at Primary School when Steph moved into Danny's class.

Danny, who admitted he fancied his new classmate straight away, proposed in January 2020 over a romantic candlelit dinner in St Lucia.
“I thought I was going to be sick because I was so nervous,” Danny told OK!
Just weeks later the lovebirds discovered that Steph - who has Polycystic ovary syndrome - was pregnant.
The pair were preparing to undergo IVF treatment when they discovered they were expecting.
