Emmerdale's Claire King hints at Kim Tate exit as 50th anniversary drama continues

Emmerdale legend Claire King has hinted her time as the iconic Kim Tate might be coming to an end.

This news will likely leave Emmerdale fans on high alert given we’ve seen a lot of deaths in the village this month. In recent weeks, the tissues have been at the ready as viewers have said goodbye to Faith Dingle, Harriet Finch and Liv Flaherty.

Throughout October, we’ve been promised to expect lots of surprises as Emmerdale celebrates its 50th anniversary. Claire King, 60, has spoken of the major stunts viewers have seen with a major storm hitting the village.

As the Express reports, Claire wants to spend more time in Spain. Prompting the suggestion Kim might get killed off in upcoming scenes.

Claire explained: “I’d also like to add that I had a lovely time in Spain (during a recent visit) so it might be Kim that goes. I don’t get much time to go there.”

Claire has enjoyed multiple stints in Emmerdale with her first appearing between 1989 and 1999. Her character Kim Tate then returned in 2018 permanently.

Claire said viewers will see Kim endure a difficult few weeks with partner Will Taylor following the death of his former flame Harriet Finch.

“I think Will could possibly blame Kim for whatever happens to Harriet.”
