Emmerdale's Charley Webb urges people to get checked after ignoring breast pain

Emmerdale star Charley Webb recently had a hospital scan after experiencing pain in one of her breasts - after putting it off for ages.

The 32-year-old actress, who plays Debbie Dingle on Emmerdale, told her fans she took a trip to the hospital to get it checked out and was left feeling "really happy" after having it looked at by a doctor.

Sharing the personal news on her Instagram, Charley urged her fans to get themselves looked at by a professional if they are currently suffering from any medical issues.

The TV star said she put it to the back of her mind due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic as she was "so worried" about going to the hospital.

She told her followers: "I went to the doctor's last week because I've been having this pain in my boob which I know Is really personal but I wanted to talk about it because I put it off for ages.

"I put it off and put it off because I was so worried about going into them with anything at the moment, with everything that going on."

Charley did not mention any result - but added that "touch wood" everything is OK.

Reassuring her loyal fans, she concluded: "I just hope no one is feeling like that and if there's something that you're worried about then you should go and get it checked because there are other issues going on in the world, not just the pandemic.

"I'm really glad that I did it. The hospital is dead. She said they're only seeing people if they really need to. And cause I had to be examined she had to see me."
