Emmerdale's Charley Webb shares pics of rain soaked walk with Matt Wolfenden and kids

Charley Webb has shown that a winter downpour won't put a stop to a family walk and a game of Pooh sticks.

The 32-year-old Emmerdale star, who is making a highly anticipated comeback to the ITV soap as Debbie Dingle after an extended maternity leave, shared a video and pic of her family time in the Yorkshire countryside.

Charley and husband Matt Wolfenden, who plays David Metcalfe in Emmerdale, were well equipped for the weather but it still didn't stop them getting a soaking after the heavens opened while they enjoyed some outdoor time with their children.

The pair share sons Buster, 10, Bowie, four, and one-year-old Ace and they have embraced a lifestyle in which screen time and TV is almost non-existent as Charley involves them in crafting activities and fun games at home.

On her Instagram Story, the actress shared a video of them on a bridge over a fast flowing stream with the kids ready to drop their sticks into the water for a Pooh sticks race.

After the sticks hit the water, the kids rush to the other side of the bridge as dad Matt excitedly points out who has won the race in the water.

Charley then posted a family group snap with them in woolen hats and waterproofs, which she captioned: "We got caught in the rain".

This followed Charley showing off a tie dye kit she had bought to transform some of her kids white clothes.

She was going to start small with a pair of white Nike socks as well as a white baby vest, to see if she could bring some colour to the garments.

Charley hasn't shared the results as yet, so the jury is still out whether it was a transformation worthy of note.
