Emmerdale's Charity Dingle is set to cheat on her lover Vanessa as she struggles to deal with her paranoia.
Vanessa left the village in July to visit her mother after a bad fall, but has decided to stay there and look after her for a while.
Earlier this year, Vanessa was diagnosed with bowel cancer and has been making plans in the tragic event that she were to die, including leaving Charity with son Johnny.
But Charity has become increasingly upset as the months go on without Vanessa at her side.
Following the recent adoption hearing for Johnny, Charity is worried after Vanessa speeds off without talking to her.
Charity ends up speaking to Vanessa's sister Tracy and tells her that she's worried that her lover has gone off her.
Despite Tracy denying as such, Charity begins to speculate that Vanessa is having an affair and an incredulous Tracy mocks her for suggesting it.
Yet Charity's mind is in a whirl and drives off, but is distracted and ends up colliding with another vehicle.
The stranger ends up giving money to Charity and the pair end up flirting and she indulges in the attention he showers her with.
Charity end up kissing the man, but quickly pulls back after discovering what she has done.
Will Vanessa and Charity's relationship survive the kissing blunder?
