Emmerdale's Cain Dingle for revenge plot after rumbling 'truth' about Moira's accident

Emmerdale's Cain Dingle is lining up a swift revenge on one fellow villager next week.

The character vows to take down the culprit behind wife Moira's hit-and-run.

Moira remains in hospital with serious injuries in the fallout to the crash, with Cain fearing he will lose her for good.

Jamie Tate was the driver, and after speeding into Moira he drove off and left her for dead.

He's feeling guilty in the fallout, but clearly not guilty enough to admit the truth.

Instead, he allows another character to be blamed for the incident, leading to Cain wanting revenge.

Enemy DI Malone is in the frame, after he threatened Moira and Cain that same day.

Cain thought they were having a fling, only for Moira to reveal she knew about his dodgy dealings with the corrupt officer.

It's then that Cain found out he was threatening her and the kids, and that he'd got it all wrong.

So when Moira was almost killed and left for dead, Cain immediately assumed Malone was behind it.

Next week, he tells Malone's real fling Harriet Finch about his theory and promises payback.

She's alarmed, amid her ongoing affair, when Cain refuses to listen to her own claims.

Harriet is sure Malone wasn't behind it, and tries to persuade him not to act.

But Cain is convinced he's got the right man, and wants to make him pay for his crimes.

As Harriet urges Cain to think before he does anything stupid, will he listen?

Later on in the week, Malone comes to blows with Harriet's fiancé Will leading to a deadly twist.

Emmerdale airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV.
