Tonight's live or die episode will see several characters trapped inside a burning maize maze but it's not yet known who will make it out alive.
The backdrop for the deadly soap plot has today been revealed as having a connection to popular Yorkshire family attraction, York Maze, which is set in Elvington.
The tourist attraction was asked to plan and cut the killer maze which will feature in scenes tonight and tomorrow, but up until today they have been sworn to secrecy in order to keep the filming location under wraps.

York Maze wows visitors every year with a different themed maze for their own site, so they were the perfect partner to create the purposely built maize maze for filming.
Said maze was created at their site in York and then replicated at Emmerdale's set in Leeds.
Revealing their involvement on Facebook today, York Maze posted: "Who’s been watching the dramatic scenes in Emmerdale this week with the cast getting lost in the Maize Maze.
"We were thrilled to play our part in this week’s mega storyline by plotting and cutting out the Emmerdale Maize Maze.
"After cutting out our own Mr Men Maze, Farmer Tom and Stu took the GPS and tractor to the Emmerdale set near Leeds to plot and cut out two identical 100mx100m mazes.
"We’ve had to keep this under wraps until now, can’t wait to see how this story ends!"
But it seems fans had a feeling York Maze could have been behind it all along as they eagerly tagged friends to prove their theory correct.
One person commented: "I had a feeling it would be you guys behind the scenes!"
A second added: "See York Maze did make it!"
A third penned: "I did wonder if you guys had had anything to do with it!"
While another said: "Had a feeling you’d be a part of it. No better maze than a York maze!"
