Emmerdale's Belle savagely takes down Jamie - and confirms secret plot with Nate

Emmerdale viewers finally learned Belle Dingle's calculated plan for lover Jamie Tate, as her revenge mission came to light.

Viewers also learned she had help from nephew Nate Robinson, as her secret accomplice was unveiled in huge scenes.

Wednesday night's cliffhanger saw a major twist, as Belle was revealed to be using Jamie the entire time despite pretending to be standing by him.

Belle recently ditched her whole family for Jamie, despite them not being accepting of the romance due to their long-running feud with the Tate family.

What Cain didn't know until Wednesday though was that Jamie was the driver who knocked down and almost killed his wife Moira recently.

To learn Belle could stand by him even after that, he was horrified and decided to go after Jamie with a bat.

It's then that Belle blurted out she had called the police on her lover and wasn't on his side at all.

Thursday's first episode confirmed details on this plan, before Belle told brother Cain that she had help from his son Nate.

Cain was just as shocked as Jamie was, as his little sister claimed she didn't even love Jamie, and simply got close to him to find the evidence she needed to get him sent down.

After Jamie took Belle to the lake where the damaged car parts were hidden, she called the police and exposed her true plan.

She told Jamie in front of Cain how she couldn't love him for her what he did, and that despite earlier claims she was not okay with what he had done.

As revenge, she teamed up with Nate, who Jamie thought he had silenced recently with a bribe, and they plotted to bring him down.

This would explain the cryptic phone calls, with it now revealed Nate has been helping her all along and they've both been biding their time, trying to find the evidence to get him arrested.

Viewers were loving the major twist, as Cain reeled from what he was discovering, wishing she had told him.

As Belle delivered brutal blows on how she didn't love him and how she wanted him to go to prison, a tearful Jamie begged her to change her mind.

Instead, she told him they were done and fans cheered over the fact Jamie may finally be punished.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
