Emmerdale's Belle issues damaging threat to Jamie before making major mistake

Emmerdale's Belle Dingle declared war on fling Jamie Tate after learning of his betrayal.

Paddy Kirk informed colleague Belle that a decision had been made to sack her from the vets where they both worked with Jamie.

With Paddy, Jamie and Vanessa all managers at the vets the decision was made to sound as though they had all agreed.

Belle quickly worked out that Jamie was behind the decision to not renew her contract though, as her current one came to an end.

Paddy hadn't admitted this, but it was written all over his face.

After reigniting their affair just weeks ago, Jamie shocked Belle when he reconciled with wife Andrea.

They then agreed to leave each other alone and end their secret romance.

But as things turned sour between them, Jamie decided to let Belle go and made up it was because the business was having money trouble.

Belle saw right through this, and hunted Jamie down in a bid to confront him.

She realised he was trying to get rid of her, and promised him she was going nowhere.

As she told him he now had a fight on his hands, Jamie made a confession about the real reason he wanted her gone.

Jamie said he couldn't stop thinking about her even when he was with his wife, and needed to be away from her.

Belle refused to let this be an excuse to lose her job, but Jamie was insistent that they couldn't work together.

But just as it seemed Belle was ready to let slip to everyone about their fling to save her job, she made a big mistake.

Giving into passion she and Jamie kissed, which will no doubt make matters worse.

Emmerdale airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV.
