Emmerdale's Belle and Andrea move forward with plan to take down Jamie for good

Emmerdale fans were obsessed with the idea of Belle Dingle and Andrea Tate joining forces and taking down Jamie Tate.

Now, it seems that plan is in motion as new spoilers released by the ITV soap confirm the pair get talking.

Fans saw the dramatic twist last week that Belle was secretly using lover Jamie, setting him up with the police for his recent crime.

After weeks of pretending to stand by him, after he ran over her sister-in-law Moira Dingle and left her for dead, she got her revenge.

She secretly teamed up with nephew Nate Robinson a short while ago, and the pair have been plotting against Kim Tate's son for weeks - trying to find the evidence to have him arrested and sent to prison.

When Andrea learned what she had done to her ex-husband, who had cheated on her and left her, before manipulating her, she agreed to help Belle make sure Jamie paid the price.

But shockingly, Jamie was released by the police, and he soon threatened her to be his alibi.

It seems Andrea will not be put off though, and in upcoming scenes she decides to stick by Belle.

Spoilers confirm that Belle is still keen to make Jamie pay, seeing as the police are not so keen to do that.

Jamie is stung to learn everyone has turned against him in the fallout, realising there is no going back.

But just as Belle fears everything was for nothing, she gets a phone call that could change things.

But will this backfire on Belle, and will Andrea manage to stick by here amid Jamie's threats?

After all, he has vowed to bring her down with him if she doesn't give him an alibi.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
