Emmerdale airs the forming of a deadly feud on the ITV soap next week, as Cain Dingle and Al Chapman go to war.
While the pair have been against each other for months now, sharing quite the history in the village including Al cheating on Cain's daughter Debbie Dingle, events take a turn in January 2022.
Cain's son Kyle is left fighting for his life in hospital after a mistake by Ellis, Al's son.
With Cain desperate to seek revenge on Ellis, Al steps in to warn him away fearing how far the village baddie will go to get what he wants.

Of course Cain isn't worried about the threats, and ends up leaving Ellis for dead in the middle of nowhere.
While Ellis' fate remains tight-lipped, amid the actor who plays him reportedly quitting the role, it spurs Al on to take an even darker revenge.
When Cain heads to the hospital to see his young son, aged 10, he's horrified to find someone menacingly waiting for him.

Sat at Kyle's bedside is Al, and it's clear he's not there to check in on the little one.
Cain is sickened as Al goes as low as to threaten a child to get back at him over Ellis, making it clear he is not to be messed with.
Al is watching the child sleep as he recovers, and Cain can't contain his rage when he threatens Kyle and warns him not to keep playing games with him.

But how will Cain react to the latest threat, and will he stop the feud for the sake of his family?
Whether Kyle really is in danger and Al would really harm him is yet to be confirmed, but we can't see this ending well for either family.
The scenes kick off next week on the show, with both Al and Cain's loved ones fearing how far both of them will go.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
