Emmerdale will air the moment that Aaron Dingle learns the shocking truth about a death that left his husband Robert Sugden facing a murder charge, next week.
Spoilers for the ITV soap confirm Victoria Sugden will tell him her recent discovery, that Robert might not have been solely responsible for the death of Lee Posner.
Back in 2019, Robron were torn apart when Robert was arrested and handed a 14-year prison sentence over the death, after he hit Lee over the head with a shovel.
Lee had raped his sister Victoria a few months earlier, and he was making her life hell after she fell pregnant with his baby following the assault.
Robert's final clash with Lee led to his death, or so everyone had been made to believe for the past two years near enough.
In fact, another incident that day may have played a part in the brain bleed that killed Lee, after a separate fight with his brother Luke.
Luke admitted last week that he'd shoved Lee after being violently attacked by his sibling over his sexuality, but said that Lee hit his head after falling.
This knocked him out briefly, and it was just hours before the incident with Robert that is said to have caused his death.
Scenes this week will explore the confession and its impact, amid talks of an exit for Luke.
Whether Victoria will act on the shocking news, with Robert still not allowing prison visits from anyone, remains to be seen.
But next week, Aaron learns the truth about Luke - so how will he react?
Emmerdale has ruled out a return for Robert for the time being, but could we at least see some contact from him to his loved ones?
The episodes will drop early next Monday on ITV Hub, before airing later than usual on the telly due to the football causing a schedule shake-up.
