Emmerdale reveals double baby twist as Charity Dingle confirms she's pregnant

Emmerdale aired a double pregnancy shocker on Wednesday night, as Charity Dingle's true reasons for being at the abortion clinic were revealed.

Charity bumped into pregnant teen Amelia Spencer when she arrived, and quickly offered her some support.

As Amelia asked Charity what she was doing at the clinic, Charity told her that she was suffering with fibroids that she was being seen about.

It wasn't until the end of the episode though that the truth was confirmed, as Charity was heard revealing her pregnancy on the phone.

It was soon clear to viewers that she was keeping the pregnancy a secret, as well as her plans for a termination, and her partner Mack Boyd did not know.

Moments earlier, Mack offered to head out to buy them both a takeaway, and Charity was heard telling him she wanted "extra pickles".

The comment led to Mack making a comment that "anyone would think she was pregnant", but he does not know the truth.

As the episode drew to a close, Charity was heard confirming she was meant to have an abortion that day, but she didn't attend after she stayed with Amelia instead who was facing her own pregnancy dilemma.

On the phone, Charity asked to rearrange her own termination as she fought back tears.

Earlier in the episode, Charity reflected on motherhood and her past teen pregnancies, as she tried to offer advice to Amelia.

This is the first person who she has told about the pregnancy, and Amelia appeared to hint that Charity's son Noah was the father.

Charity was furious and didn't know how to react, ahead of Noah's release from prison.

She begged the teenager not to tell anyone about the paternity of her unborn child for now, while Amelia was clearly having second thoughts about her own abortion plans.

Amelia believed she could feel the baby moving around and got upset ahead of her plans for the procedure the following day.

It's not yet known whether Amelia and Charity will go through with the procedure, or if anyone else will learn the truth.
