Emmerdale viewers welcomed a newcomer on the soap tonight - but some may have seen him before.
Connor appeared in the village this week, threatening to out Paul's gambling.
The character showed up at the scrapyard to see Paul, saying Paul owed him money.

However, viewers may recognise Connor from somewhere else.
Connor is played by Danny Cunningham who appeared on Coronation Street between October 2000 and November 2001 as Jimmy Sykes.
Viewers may also recognise Danny from his roles in Holby City, Grange Hill, Waterloo Road and Last Tango in Halifax.

Vinny reminds Paul if he doesn’t tell Mandy about his gambling, he will be forced to but when they arrive at the pub, Mandy launches into a full-on musical proposal which leaves both Paul and Vinny stunned.
Put on the spot with the big question, an awkward Paul says ‘yes’, leaving Vinny both astonished and appalled.
Later, Vinny’s anger peaks when he accuses Paul of lying about his epilepsy.
Vinny, realising he’s gone too far, backs away, terrified by the violent demeanor Paul’s quickly taken on.
Later, emotional Vinny starts to open up to Liv about Paul’s gambling, but Paul arrives and interrupts them.
When Vinny breaks into tears, Paul is devastated. Full of self-loathing, Paul breaks down and tells Mandy about his gambling but omits the detail about his violence.
Mandy kicks Paul out of the salon and Paul drives away.
Furious Mandy stuffs Paul’s belongings into a bin bag, ready to take it to the pawnshop.
After selling Paul’s possessions, Mandy’s face darkens to see him approach with Liv.

Mandy refuses point blank to hear Paul out, leaving him gutted. Later at the Scrapyard, Sam and Lydia stop-by to see Paul and seem sympathetic towards him.
His relief over their kindness is short-lived, however, as Connor arrives at the scrapyard not far behind them….
Mandy and Vinny mull over Paul’s betrayal, kicking themselves for trusting him again, when Vinny’s phone rings. He’s shocked to hear that Paul’s been taken to A&E.
