Emmerdale viewers have been left in shock and some a little frustrated as evil Meena Jutla fled the village for Scotland.
In this evening’s Emmerdale double bill, Doctor Liam Cavanagh discovered Meena has been torturing her sister Manpreet and Vinny Dingle in a secluded rural building.
In recent weeks, viewers have seen Meena keep the pair captive with their lives seriously being at risk at the hands of the serial killer. After being rescued by Liam, the pair told him of Meena’s crimes which included killing his daughter Leanna.

After discovering the terrible truth Liam went back to confront Meena while Manpreet and Vinny called for the police.
Somehow Meena escaped into the woods and Liam chased after her. During the chase fell and picked up a large rock ready to attack the doctor.
During the chase, Liam yelled: “Meena! You’re a dead woman!”
It nearly resulted in a dramatic late night confrontation between the two - although Meena was disturbed by the police and scarpered. All the while, more and more people back in the village discovered more about some of Meena’s misdemeanours.

Vicar Charles Anderson headed for the woods in a car to try to help and knocked a woman over - who it was thought to be Meena.
However, the episode finished with Meena fleeing in a truck heading to Glasgow after hitchhiking.
Meena, now claiming to be Manpreet, said: “I love Glasgow.”
Some Emmerdale fans, presumably eager for Meena to finally get what’s been coming to her, were a little frustrated with the outcome of tonight’s shows. Expressing their thoughts on Twitter.
One viewer @lolamarchy said: “Biggest anti-climax since Line of Duty.”
While, @sandraw27212829 commented: “So another character on emmerdale gets away with murder.”
Another fan @wadyjade said: “If Meena actually gets away with everything I’m not watching this anymore.”
Twitter user @saltay said: “Mad Meena story is dragged out even longer! Bored with it now.”
And, @rantyalex, expressed the feelings of many when he said: “Should have ended it for good tonight.”
We'll have to see what awaits in Emmerdale for Meena with many fans desperate for her to finally get her comeuppance.
