Emmerdale Maya Stepney actress Louisa Clein stuns fans with 'gorgeous' make-up free selfie

Emmerdale actress Louisa Clein has been updating fans from her hotel isolation - where a dramatic saga unfolded.

The actress, who played Maya Stepney on the ITV soap, shared a selfie on Instagram ahead of her last day in quarantine.

In a make-up free selfie, she posted on Instagram a picture with the caption: "This is what day 6 of isolation looks like. A bit blurry and rather soggy. I've been running everyday to keep me from constantly eating and I must admit I kinda like it!!

"The adventures begin tomorrow and the constant eating will reassuringly resume."

But there was even drama in a hotel room for the soap star as she revealed housekeeping had accidentally thrown away her knitting needle - a lifeline during boring days in lockdown.

Louisa said: "In the meantime, housekeeping mistook my knitting needle for a chopstick and chucked it so I have no idea what I will do for the rest of the day."

Former co-star Ash Palmisiciano, who plays Matty Barton in Emmerdale, offered words of encouragement, telling Louisa: "Nearly there mate."

Others commented on her fresh-faced look, with one fan posting: "Looking so beautiful and gorgeous as always", before another added: "Still stunning as ever."

And the story had a happy ending.

Hours later, Louisa posted another photo of a her knitting project back underway with the message: "The best service!!!! Room service delivery of knitting needles!! The creation can continue!"
