She's the sister of Emmerdale serial killer Meena Jutla and as it stands, the fate of Manpreet Sharma is very much in the balance.
The Dales GP has been in the ITV soap since 2018 and just a year into her time in Emmerdale she ended up marrying Rishi Sharma, with the pair getting hitched in Las Vegas.
She then saw herself get reunited with sister Meena - something which may come to haunt her now that she has discovered just how evil her sibling really is.

But what about Rebecca's life off screen?
Although she is known for her current stint on Emmerdale she actually made her debut on a rival soap.
She's also a true Yorkshire lass having been born in Halifax and is a mum-of-two.

Rival soap roles
Long before playing Manpreet in Emmerdale, Rebecca starred in another soap.
She made her acting debut in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street in 1999.
Portraying the role of Nita Desai, her character was the daughter of short term corner shop owner Ravi Desai.
Her character managed the shop for her dad after he bought it from Fred Elliott.
After four months of managing the corner shop, Nita left the family business and started a job at Freshco.
She later left Weatherfield to move to Inverness to run her own store, with Rebecca leaving in 2000.
After exiting Coronation Street, Rebecca stayed within the realms of soap land.
Shortly after leaving Corrie, she appeared on the BBC soap opera Doctors. She then appeared in the BBC medical dramas Holby City and Casualty.
Not hanging up her doctor's hat just yet, she then went on to portray Dr Newton in two episodes of the EastEnders.
Hollywood fame
Rebecca hasn't only stayed within the realms of soap land though, she's also had a glowing Hollywood career.
Starring in the feature film John Carter, Rebecca made a name for herself across the pond.
John Carter of Mars is a 2012 American science fiction Disney movie and although it made $284m at the box office, it was considered to be a flop.
Stunning bikini snaps
Back in August earlier on in the year, the 46-year-old was seen in an array of bikinis on Instagram.
Enjoying a break away from the Dales with her son, Rebecca left her fans gobsmacked when she showed off her sizzling figure on social media.

On one snap, Rebecca could be seen stepping into the pool wearing a gold and cream bikini.
She wore large shades and her hair tousled, framing her face.
One said: "Looking fabulous!" Another said: "Wow. You're a gorgeous girl Rebecca." While a third said: "How beautiful you look hope you are enjoying your holiday."
