Emmerdale Lydia Hart's baby dad 'revealed' as fans uncover the horrifying truth

Emmerdale fans are convinced that they have discovered the truth about who the dad of Lydia Hart's dead baby is.

Tonight, Lydia admitted that the baby was hers as she handed herself into the police.

Sam's partner went missing during tonight's episode after news of the baby spread around the village.

Jessie was left troubled earlier this week when she discovered that some human bones were discovered at the school.

The next day, DI Bradwall revealed the photo of the most likely candidate for the baby's mother - 16-year-old Jenny Finn.

This evening, the local newspaper printed the photo of the teen on the front cover and Marlon quickly noticed that she looked a lot like Lydia.

As the villagers all tried to look for Lydia, viewers discovered at the end that she was at the police station.

"I'm the woman you're looking for," she told an officer at the station.

He replied in confusion: "What for, love?"

"The baby you found," she replied. "It's mine. I'm Jenny Finn."

Fans flocked to Twitter to speculate on her past in the Dales and suggested that she may have a tragic past with Frank Tate.

One commented: "Lydia Hart/Jenny Finn literally buried her tragic past at the school grounds… And Frank Tate was the 'baby daddy'."

While another remarked: "So now the rumours are Frank Tate is the baby daddy! Did he rape Lydia when she was a kid?"
