There could be a big romantic reunion in Emmerdale soon, as an iconic character returns to the ITV soap.
Faith Dingle is set to return to the village for the first time since 2019 this week.
Actress Sally Dexter plays Faith and she's hinted that there could be fireworks on her return - reports Leeds Live.
Faith was last seen in Emmerdale in 2019 after her son Cain, played by Jeff Hordley, banished her when she confessed to covering up the fact that he had a secret son.
During Faith’s return, it looks like she’s going to take aim at Eric Pollard’s love life.
And it is fair to say she isn’t too pleased with his blossoming romance with Brenda Walker.
Speaking to Digital Spy Sally said: "She's not too pleased about that. What's he thinking? There are lovely scenes between Brenda and Faith coming up. I'm not quite sure where that's going at the moment.
"Faith might make a play for him if she thinks he's worth it. She's quite surprised by how taken she is with him, funnily enough when she knows he's with someone else. Who knows?"

She added: "I don't think that story is completely ended yet, it's a bit of a dot dot dot. There are certainly fireworks between them."
