Emmerdale airs dramatic siege scenes next week, that leaves some village residents in danger.
Billy is left horrified in scenes that could spell a shock death, as his feud with Max leads to horror for the family, just months on from little brother Ellis being stabbed thanks to Max.
Viewers have seen Max contacting Billy again recently, wanting him to do another job for him like back in the day.
Next week, Max goes ahead with his plans to get Billy to rob a van, unaware the character has been giving information to the police.
As they get the go ahead from Max, they’re suddenly intercepted by officers with the three of them taken away.
But Billy is left horrified to learn there’s no guarantee Max won’t find out it was him who grassed him up, with the villain soon discovering the betrayal.
Max heads to the house, and holds Billy’s mum Jessie, stepsister April and stepfather Marlon Dingle hostage.
The criminal tells Jessie to call her son and get him to come back, with it being him he wants to take revenge on.
Billy’s at the village football match though unaware what is going on, until he receives the messages on his phone.
He and Ellis race back to the house to save their family, with Max brandishing a gun at them.
As Billy walks in, Max points the gun straight at him and the pair become embroiled in a tussle.
Suddenly, the gun goes off and someone is shot, while viewers will have to wait and see who the victim is as someone is left fighting for their life.
Is it Max or Billy who has been injured, or has someone else in the room paid the price?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
