Emmerdale Leyla's emergency prompts fans to make tragic prediction

Emmerdale fans have made a tragic prediction for Leyla Cavanagh after tonight's episode.

Leyla has decided to keep the news from Liam after she feared he wouldn't be able to cope with the news.

However, she had an emergency during tonight's episode which prompted fears she may be losing the baby.

She confided in Priya about her her problem who urged her to get medical attention, but a teary Leyla revealed she wanted to wait as she fears what the news from the doctor may be.

She said: "I just need one more night to hold onto the idea that I might be having another baby."

Leyla was set to update Liam on her situation at the end of the episode, but decided against this as Liam had a tough day after he saw a patient who resembled his daughter.

She said: "It's nothing that can't wait. Go and relax, I'm here if you need me."

But fans of the show took Twitter concerned that Leyla's story is set to have a tragic end.

One user said: "I think Leyla may be having a miscarriage. I hope Liam can support her now he's feeling better"

Another added: "Is Leyla having a miscarriage?"

A third commented: "Poor Leyla, she is losing the Baby"

A fourth added: "Leyla needs to get checked out!"

Emmerdale continues Monday at 7pm on ITV and ITVHub
