Emmerdale's Marlon Dingle star Mark Charnock was moved to tears as he realised his amazing soap landmark at the weekend.
For Bolton-born actor Mark has now reached 25 years on the hit ITV soap as the lovable Dingle.
Getting a tad choked up on his social media as he revealed the special moment, fans and co-stars rushed to send their congratulations at joining the "Silver Dale" club - reserved for those actors who reach 25 years on the Yorkshire-set soap.

It was back in 1996 when Mark first joined Emmerdale as Marlon, part of the Dingle clan who are one of the most famous families in soapland.
Since then he's become part of the fabric of the show and one of it's best-loved stars.
In an emotional post on Saturday night, Mark wrote: "25 years ago today I started on @Emmerdale.
"Just wanted to thank everyone I’ve worked with over all those years from the bottom of my heart.
"It’s a wonderfully happy place and I’m so lucky to be part of it.
"Blimey, #Emmerdale I love you."
Apparently carried away by emotion he added: "Better go I seem to have something in my eye."
Co-stars including Samantha Giles who plays Bernice Blackstock, and Michelle Hardwick who plays Vanessa Woodfield, were quick to send their congratulations.
Former co-stars also sent their best wishes including Ayden Callaghan who said: "Happy Daleiversary. 25 not out. Brilliant!" while Anthony Lewis said: "Some innings that mate. Pleasure to join you for a small part of the ride. Top work, keep it up."
It sees actor Mark in an exclusive club of those who have starred in the soap for 25 years or more - including James Hooton who plays Sam Dingle, who posted his own comical remark.
He said: "Have they taken you off that youth training scheme yet Mark? Congratulations on the quarter century my friend."
Mark replied: "Hahaaaa!! Nope. Still on the scheme. An absolute privilege to join you in the silver club, James of the Hootons."
Many fans struggled to believe the 25 year milestone - as they are surprised that Mark's age is 53.
One fan wrote: "Happy Emmerdale Anniversary. I watch old ones on ITV3. You have aged really well can't believe you're 53.
"Hope you're still there in another 25 years."
Another added: "You don't look any older Mark! We love Marlon and Emmerdale.....would not be the same without you... Happy silver anniversary."
A third said: "We have loved watching u over the last 25 years 1 of the best characters on emmerdale xx here's to another 25."
