Emmerdale Isabel Hodgins' co-star ex from Merseyside and life away from ITV show

Isabel Hodgins is renowned as an Emmerdale legend.

The soap star has played Victoria Sugden on the ITV show since 2006. Isabel was just 12-years-old when she arrived on the Yorkshire Dales and has been a key part of the show ever since.

She has portrayed Victoria through some of the show's most dramatic storylines as she was targeted by the villainous Meena Jutla in last year's Super Soap Week. Victoria has also endured a turbulent love life on the soap as she has endured rollercoaster romances with Adam Barton and David Metcalfe.

Although Isabel is now established as one of the show's most famous faces, she revealed she was close to giving up on her acting dream before she secured the Emmerdale gig. She told the Mirror: "I struggled, I was so homesick so I was going to leave at the end of the year. Then I got the audition for Emmerdale and every northern girl in my year went for it and I got it. It was perfect."

Away from the screen, Isabel's life is fortunately less dramatic that her character's. Isabel regularly keeps her Instagram followers updated with exciting posts as she leads a glamorous life in the world of showbiz.

She started dating her co-star, Michael Parr, who played Ross Barton in the ITV show. Michael hails from St Helens and has previously appeared alongside Stephen Graham in Good Cop.

The actor, from Merseyside, joined Emmerdale in 2013 and played a part in a number of high profile storylines until his exit in 2018. Isabel and Michael enjoyed a close relationship away from the Yorkshire Dales and regularly used to post snaps with one another on Instagram.

However, the couple seem to have gone their separate ways - and Michael has recently appeared in a TV mini-series named Colosseum.

Isabel enjoys a close relationship with her Emmerdale co-stars and regularly shares posts with other famous soap faces. The 28-year-old shared a series of snaps alongside her on-screen boyfriend, Matthew Wolfenden, to mark his 41st birthday in May.

She said: "Happy birthday to this brilliant human who makes me laugh every single day. I love you all the way back to 2013."
