Emmerdale in court, Corrie secret and EastEnders rape horror: Soaps this week

The soaps air life-changing events this week, across EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street.

EastEnders airs harrowing scenes on the BBC soap, as Ben Mitchell is raped by newcomer Lewis - sparking a new storyline for the show.

Over in the Dales, the ITV soap sees Noah Dingle face court over his crimes - with him planning to do a runner.

Corrie sees a secret exposed, leaving Fiz Brown devastated - but what does Hope find out about her mother's new fella Phill?

Here's what ITV and BBC viewers can expect on the shows this coming week, as many characters take centre stage.

EastEnders rape storyline begins

In devastating and horrifying scenes to air this week, Ben Mitchell will be raped by his new friend Lewis, who has seemingly been supporting him as things with Callum hit the rocks.

Ben heads to The Vic to drown his sorrows after a row with Callum, leaving Callum at home with Lexi - and he covers for Ben when she asks where he is.

At the pub, Ben comes across Lewis on a dating app and drops him a message before the pair decide to meet up for drinks.

They flirt up a storm, whilst Callum is at home with Lexi, who convinces him their relationship is worth another go.

Drunk, Lewis and Ben decide to head upstairs as the bar is closed and soon one thing leads to another.

When he checks his phone, he sees a selfie from Callum and Lexi and he decides he should go back to try and make things work with his husband.

However, Lewis has other ideas and as Ben tries to leave, Lewis stops him from going before raping him in horrifying scenes.

Emmerdale's Noah faces court

Noah prepares for his court hearing, as he chats with his solicitor about the process and how it all works.

He will be asked how he pleads to the charges put against him, but he leaves Charity fuming when he says he doesn't want to plead guilty.

There is an exchange between Amy and Noah and rattled by what she says, the teenager admits to his mum he wants to do a runner.

She had originally suggested, before she reported him to the police, that he should head to Ireland with Cain for a bit of time out of the village whilst all the heat surrounded what he did died down.

So this time, when he suggests the idea and she's not keen, a fuming Noah leaves the house feeling frustrated as he plots his next move.

He is found by Sarah, who tries to convince him that heading to court is the better thing to do.

Noah decides to attend court the next day - but he isn't sure whether to plead guilty or not guilty. It leaves his mum Charity anxious as she plots their next move.

Later in court, Noah stands in front of the judge as he's asked what he pleads. But will it be guilty - or not guilty?

Corrie's Phill's secret exposed to Fiz

Fiz is left devastated in upcoming scenes, as she finds out what new partner Phill has been hiding (ITV)

Fiz is left devastated in upcoming scenes, as she finds out what new partner Phill has been hiding from her.

ITV spoilers have revealed that Tyrone is still suspicious of Phill and what he is up to this week, and when Fiz’s daughter Hope borrows Phill’s laptop, she is the one who uncovers the truth about what he’s doing.

In true Hope style, she takes her own brand of revenge and lets the mini-digger rip on the driveway, swinging the digger’s arm swings round and smashing the windscreen on Phill’s car.

While the ITV spoilers have not yet revealed Fiz’s reaction to the drama, by Wednesday she is trying to move out, suggesting the secret is laid bare before her.
