Emmerdale could have some more Sugdens on the way if the latest episode of the ITV soap is anything to go by.
Victoria Sugden is one of the few remaining Sugdens in the village, asides niece Sarah and stepmother Diane, as well as Victoria's baby son Harry.
Her brother Andy is on the run, after his dramatic departure in 2016.
Their other sibling Robert Sugden is in prison for murder, while their father Jack sadly passed away in 2009.
Victoria's mother Sarah also died in a fire in 2000, while last week saw the tragic news that her grandmother and soap legend Annie had passed away.
Fans recently hoped Andy would return to the Dales, after actor Kelvin Fletcher was spotted back on set.
Unfortunately the actor denied this, revealing he was filming an interview.
But there could be other Sugdens in the Dales soon, after a revelation from Victoria on Monday night.
She was devastated last week to find out Annie, played by actress Sheila Mercier, had passed away.
Emmerdale legend Sheila passed away in December 2019 aged 100.
On Monday, the tearful character stood by her father Jack's grave, mourning the loss of the mother and son.
She was joined by pal Marlon Dingle, who tried his best to comfort her as she opened up on her loss.
Victoria emotionally confessed she didn't know what she was going to do without her grandmother.
It's then that she shared there were more Sugdens out there, leaving Marlon surprised.
She revealed she was going to stay with them, and that they were distant cousins down South who Annie was in touch with.
So could we be getting some new Sugdens in the Dales very soon?
