We love Emmerdale and think it is great but a recent episode has struggled with quality control.
Down the years, understandably, the ITV soap has won lots of awards although there are few plaudits for a scene which was screened last week.
Fans will know Emmerdale's Bernice Blackstock fled for her life on Friday night as partner Liam Cavanagh chased her through the woods amid his ‘murder’ secret being revealed.
Sister Nicola King and husband Jimmy were chasing after the characters.
The suspected ‘murderer’ was taken down by Jimmy when he chucked a pork pie, of all things, at him.
It later transpired the whole thing was a mix up as Liam prepared for a murder mystery event.
Whatever, most fans didn’t rate the acting in the dramatic scene, which in fairness might have been played for laughs.
