Emmerdale has given viewers a massive clue that Maya Stepney is DEAD.
The paedophile teacher has been missing ever since her affair with Jacob Gallagher was exposed when Priya Sharma spotted them kissing outside the nighclub.
The horrifying truth won't be revealed for two weeks, but viewers are convinced a shocking remark gave the game away early.
David Metcalfe was frantically searching for news about his girlfriend in the cafe - where Dr Cavanagh was drumming up support for Nicola King in the council elections.
The doctor, who was wearing a fetching hat and t-shirt, then made a comment which might have revealed Maya is "decomposing in the woods".

When Leanna questioned why, he said: "Nicola will go ballistic if I don’t get rid of all of these. I'll be found decomposing in the woods still wearing this stupid hat."
Leyla and Tracey were listening intently and looked very shifty while listening to the discussion.
Nervous Priya then went to say something, perhaps a confession, but was interrupted before she could reveal anything to David.
Spinning more lies, Leyla claimed Maya had left the village and moved in with her mum.
Liam admitted it was out of character for his ex and Leanna pointed out that Maya hated her mother.
Keeping up the pretense, Leyla said: "I’m sorry David but she hates you. She said it's over for good. So I think you should just let it go."
Back at home, Tracy and Priya blasted Leyla for lying and overcomplicating their story.
Leyla got her own surprise when she saw the incriminating scarf on the washing line.
As they burned the evidence, Leyla said: "We have each other's backs. No one will ever find out."
But they didn't realise that Liv had overheard the entire conversation - so will she reveal all?
