An Emmerdale acting star has been recast much to the shock of fans.
Some of you may have noticed the role of Lucas Taylor is being portrayed by a different child star in recent episodes of Emmerdale.
Dawn Taylor’s son was previously played by Dexter Ansell - since the role was introduced back in 2019.

Now, Noah Ryan Aspinall has taken over the part. The Metro reports Dexter appeared regularly in the long-running soap prior to the coronavirus pandemic.
He returned to screens for a handful of episodes at the beginning of the year, before making his final appearance in March.

The character of Lucas hadn’t appeared in the soap again until this week when a new child star began playing the part.
Fans of Emmerdale took to Twitter to declare their shock at the switch.
One fan @guyfoxy asked: “Help me has Lucas grown a new head now?”
Another, @AmyWhyattx_X confirmed: “Lucas has been recast in Emmerdale.”
Viewer @rainingpurple wrote: “That isn’t the Lucas we know!!”
It’s not uncommon for young characters in soaps to change actors but, as you have read, some Emmerdale viewers are disappointed by the move.
