Jimmy almost died in the fiery lorry crash when he drove into a barn after veering off the road at high speed. This happened as he raced In a panic fearing son Carl was being kidnapped and that wife Nicola was in trouble.

Ahead in a barn set up for Paul Ashdale's wedding to Mandy Dingle, Paul was having a showdown with Liv Flaherty about his lies and crimes.

Jimmy crashed into the barn and caused it to explode, eventually killing Paul while he and Liv were also severely injured.

In the fallout, Jimmy has faced questioning over the crash with him struggling to remember events from that day.

Actor Nick Miles has recently addressed rumours he’s leaving Emmerdale. The star has played Jimmy King for 17 years.

Appearing on Loose Women, he said: “I’ve had a great run at 17 years and if this is the end I’ve got nothing to feel sorry for.”
