Emmerdale fans 'work out' wild Paddy 'real dad' theory

Emmerdale fans have posited a wild theory as to the real father of baby Reuben.

Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) claims to be Reuben's dad when he comes to visit the critically ill infant in hospital. But Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) spurns married dad Mackenzie and says his alleged love child isn't and will never be his.

Chloe may be saying Mack doesn't deserve to be Reuben's dad but some Emmerdale viewers have suggested Reuben's real father is in fact, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt). They point to 'strange interactions' between Paddy and Chloe when Chloe was leaving the village.

@TwellyWatcher says: "Could Paddy be the real father of Chloe’s baby!? Surely not! But remember the interaction they had when she was leaving the village and now Paddy seems concerned.

"There’s more to this than meets the eye. I’m calling it now no matter how unlikely it is..."

The viewer adds: "I’m calling it that Mackenzie isn’t Reuben’s father at all and it’s really Paddy’s child! Some strange interactions and now Paddy is looking worried!? I need to know now, Emmerdale.

"If this is the case it would be one hell of a twist! Great story."

@Daniolivia_1992 posted: "Have I missed something? Is Chloe’s baby Paddy’s?"

And @richardgrimsby says: "It's obviously going to turn out that Paddy is the father to Chloe's baby."

But not everyone was convinced.

@sofaneilas posted: "Y'all are mad - Paddy is not the father."
