Emmerdale viewers have all been left asking the same question as Jai discovered some life-changing news about his family.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV hit soap Jai was left go smashed when he found out that he is adopted. Before finding out, Jai’s day was off to a chaotic start as mixed up a holiday booking - he accidently booked a honeymoon suite instead of a normal suite.
As he was crumbling around to try and change the booking, the mistake gave Laurel an idea to pop the big question.

Laurel asked him if they could keep the honeymoon suite and use it for an actual honeymoon. It took Jai a while to understand what she was trying to say and eventually she surprised him and asked if he would marry her.
Jai said yes and he wasting no time and rushed to his dads house so he could find his old papers confirming his divorce from Megan Macey so they can go ahead with his future wedding.
Jai headed to Rishi’s house, where he bumped into his dad and took the opportunity to tell his dad about the engagement.
Jai found the divorce paper he was looking for, but on the way out of the room he spotted something that left him gobsmacked.
When he returned home, he quickly showed the paper to Laurel, which revealed that he was adopted. Fans watching at home rushed straight to Twitter as they shared their predictions on who Jai’s real dad could be.
