Emmerdale fans upset as well loved character returns from the dead

Emmerdale fans were left emotional as a well-loved character appeared to return from the dead.

As Jamie set up his plan to frame Belle for Moira's hit and run, the young Dingle started to spiral.

Previously, Belle has suffered from severe schizophrenia but has managed it through her medication.

But her feud with the Tate's has seen her condition decline.

As he encouraged her to take her pills, the voice of Lisa told her not to.

Lisa, played by Jane Cox, could be heard saying: "Are you going to take those? If you want to talk to me it's probably best to leave them.

"Put them away love."

Lisa's return sparked a massive emotional reaction from fans.

Wini said: "Awwww Lisa’s voice, even I’ve missed her."

Sarah tweeted: "I know it means Belle’s unravelling but it was lovely to hear Lisa Dingle again."

And Grianne said: "The real Lisa would NEVER encourage Belle to stop taking her medication", followed by a heart-breaking emoji.
