Emmerdale fans up in arms over 'ruined' character's sudden transformation

Emmerdale viewers were divided over Will Taylor's hard man posturing during tonight's episode as they accused the producers of 'ruining' the character.

Will (Dean Andrews) is normally a nice guy but we saw him channelling some tough guy vibes during a confrontation between Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and his newfound brother Caleb (Dominic Brunt). Will has been attempting to prevent Cain seeing his killer son Kyle (Huey Quinn) while shielding Kyle's mum Amy (Chelsea Halfpenny).

Lest Emmerdale viewers forget Will's drug dealer and gangster past. Will was a member of dead bent copper Det Insp Mark Malone's gang who eventually ended up in prison for his crimes.
