Emmerdale fans thrilled as they 'work out' what Charity does next

Emmerdale viewers think they've worked out what's next for Charity Dingle and judging by comments on social media they'll be very happy about it if it proves to be true.

The soap favourite has recently had her heart broken after marrying Mackenzie Boyd to find out just weeks later that he had cheated on her and is the father of Chloe Harris' newborn baby Reuben. Charity realised the truth when she saw Mackenzie at the poorly baby's bedside.

She handed Mackenzie back the wedding ring and proceeded to throw all his belongings out.

Charity's cousin Chas was furious when she heard what Mackenzie had done and has been offering her full support during Charity's time of need. However some viewers are calling her a hypocrite after she recently had an affair with Al Chapman while married to Paddy Kirk.

Elsewhere on social media, some soap fans think they know what's in store for Charity. Many believe she will get back together with ex Vanessa Woodfield.

Taking to Twitter, Charlotte said: "You know what this means don't you? CHARITY IS SINGLE #Vanity", while Jorjah said: "It's time to uncancel #Vanity But first, let Charity regain some fun with stirring the villagers." [sic]

Ryan said: "Noah is right about Mack and is acting so wise in this scene with Charity. I'm so glad he's turned a corner. Vanessa has always been the one for Charity."

Samantha said: "Cue a Charity/Vanessa reunion when she returns" and Shaheen said: "We all knew Charity and Mack was a sham until Vanessa got back".

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX
