Emmerdale fans thrilled as Lisa and Zak return - but it's not all good news

Emmerdale fans were thrilled to see Lisa and Zak Dingle return to the village tonight - but their joy was shortlived.

As the pair drove up to the village, Lisa said how much she'd missed the "smell of muck in the air and sheep in the fields."

As Lisa and Zak walked into the surprise party thrown by daughter Belle Lisa said: "Look at this, what a wonderful surprise, it's so nice to see everyone."

And fans were thrilled to see the couple returning - but were devastated by Lisa's heartbreaking news.
