Emmerdale fans were thrilled tonight, after Eric gave Maya a taste of her own medicine.
Maya was seen skulking round the village in a hat, looking for an opportunity to pull Jacob.
But fans were stunned when Maya went to see Eric.
Maya said: "I know i shouldn't be here, I just want to see him and make sure he's ok, and to tell him I still care about him, please Eric, I'll do anything."
But Eric bit back, saying:"There is nothing that i want from you, you're a predator, hes falling apart because of you.
"If I were you I'd make the most of my head start."
But then Eric paused and said: "Although anything you say, if you convinced him it was over between you, it's either that or I call the police - the choice is yours.
"This is not a negotiation, I'm trying to save Jacob."
Eric then text Jacob to come round and as he walked into the room he ran to go and see Maya, but she stepped away from him.
Maya said: "I used you Jacob, we both got caught up in it, because it's insane, whether I get cleared or not, it's over, it had to end, I'm sorry."
Jacob said: "I don't believe you, that's why I'll wait, we're meant to be together."
Maya continued: "Right that's it, this is just about as much as I can take, have you any idea what I've been through, look now what's happened. I don't love you and you don't know what it means, you're just a boy.
"You're a child and I don't love you and I never will, this is what I'm talking about this madness, we will never be together, do you understand?"
Maya then stormed out the house and bumped into David and Leyla who screamed at her to leave the village.
But as she walked off and the adults were busy arguing, Maya slipped a wink to Jacob - giving him hope she didn't mean what she said.
And fans took to social media in their droves.
One said: "Come on Eric! Annihilate her!"
A second said: "YES ERIC legend."
And another added: "That will not be the end of Maya you just Emmerdale is going to drag it on and on."
