Emmerdale fans were left fuming on Monday evening as they predicted Meena Jutla's potential next murder victim.
The latest episode of the ITV soap saw the evil nurse offer to do Wendy Posner a favour by offering to look after her dog Princess.
As Meena acted more twisted than usual following the grim murder of Ben Tucker, Wendy fell for her sweet act and ended up accepting her offer.
But viewers were left fearing for the animal's life as Meena cuddled the dog and declared: "I always get what I want."
Taking to Twitter, one person posted: "So Meena now has her eyes set on another victim the flaming dog, Princess # emmerdale."
Another tweeted: "Meena is gonna murder that dog #Emmerdale."
A third person predicted: "All that dog will have to do is bark and that’s it. She’ll kill it. The writers know this. The actress said in an article 'I can’t believe what they’ve got Meena doing next' #Emmerdale."
Someone else threatened: "If she's hurts that dog I will burn that village down and salt the earth! #Meena #SavePrincess #emmerdale."
And another soap fan tweeted: "Meena’s going to kill off Princess as well #Emmerdale."
Other soap fans were feeling frustrated with the ongoing storyline, with one posting: "I’m done with Emmerdale at the moment - the whole Meena story line is p**sing me off! I had to switch off #emmerdale."
Someone else tweeted: "Honestly I am so sodding sick of this Meena story, I know I should switch off, but I’ve been a fan of #emmerdale for years & I just keep hoping it will get better soon. Right now it’s bloody painful to watch."
It comes after new ITV spoilers revealed that Meena's sister Manpreet will struggle with her secret after making a shock discovery.
In December, Manpreet finds out that her sibling is meddling with villager Ethan Anderson's life again, as he considers reaching out to his estranged mother.
Manpreet has no idea that her sister is a serial killer, having murdered Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker, as well as a mystery friend named Nadine.
Amid fears of another murder this Christmas, with Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher at risk, Manpreet realises her sister is up to no good - but will she find out the actual truth? Or will Meena strike again?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
