Emmerdale fans think Meena and Manpreet are both dead after Woolpack explosion

A devastating fire ripped through Emmerdale’s Woolpack in tonight's Christmas Day episode - leaving Meena and Manpreet for dead.

In recent weeks, Al has been conniving and plotting to get his hands on the Woolpack as he plans to turn it into luxury flats.

Having succeeded in investing and becoming a partner, he has already inflicted major changes on the team.

But joint owners Chas and Marlon soon discovered his plan and have done everything in their power to try and stop the Woolpack's conversion.

In tonight's episode, Al received a threatening message from Gavin and was later disturbed to catch Gavin talking to Ellis.

Feeling the pressure, Al came up with a plan and set the Woolpack on fire.

Using a timer, Al put a whisk in a microwave, causing a huge explosion.

Outside, Meena and Manpreet were arguing with Meena threatening to kill her sister.

But they were both knocked to the ground when the pub exploded.

The last scene showed the sisters motionless and covered in blood.

And fans think at least one of them could be dead.

Ian said: "I really hope that Manpreet isn't Mad Meena's next victim, she should be the one to bring her sister down!"

Andrew tweeted: "I hope Meena hasn't been killed. I want to see her on trial and being sent to prison."

Heidi said: "What’s the bet Meena survives that explosion."

Leah said: "Don’t tease us with Meena dying when we know that they have to figure her out before she goes."

Simon said: "I hope Manpreet & Meena aren't both dead, bc then it's not gonna be the same if people find out the truth about Meena, & not likely that they will...."

And Moll tweeted: "Why’s it gonna be Manpreet that gets injured."
