Emmerdale fans stunned as rapist Pierce contacts Rhona with surprise request

Emmerdale’s viewers as well as Rhona Goskirk were left stunned and scared when she received a letter from evil Pierce Harris.

Pierce made Rhona’s life a living hell and the last time she saw him he had kidnapped her friend Vanessa Woodfield and her young son Johnny, before also attacking Kim Tate.

He has been in prison since 2020, facing time behind bars for his evil ways.

During tonight's episode Rhona was thrown when an unknown man handed her a letter, claiming Pierce had sent him.

She was left distressed and torn over whether to open the letter, not ever wanting to hear from him ever again.

Sitting down with Vanessa a tearful Rhona began to read the letter where Pierce apologised for everything he had done, and everything he had put her through.

Further down the note Rhona was left stunned by a bombshell where Pierce confirmed to her that he was seriously ill, and was in fact dying.

Things got even more complicated as he told her that he had a secret son out there who he wanted to see before he died.

He then went on to request Rhona's help in finding Marcus for him, leaving Vanessa stunned.

Viewers were just as shocked and went straight to social media to share their reaction.

Parkiewolf Tweeted: “Vanessa’s horror at Rhona thinking of helping Pierce find his Son……… The same reaction as all of us!!!”

@mishybabez_ wrote: “Hell no! Pierce has the cheek to do this to Rhona after everything he put her through!!”

While @Robron75 added: “She owes that man absolutely nothing, so no!”
