Emmerdale's David Metcalfe was under fire after tonight's episode.
Wednesday's edition of the popular soap continued to explore David's dramatic love triangle with Meena Jutla and Victoria Sugden.
The character played by Matthew Wolfenden was shot during a gun siege last month after he took a bullet for Victoria.

David has since made a recovery as Victoria confessed she loved him while his partner Meena was away in Ibiza.
The villainous Meena is continuing to manipulate David and has now convinced him to cut ties with Victoria after the Isabel Hodgins character was caught snooping in their bedroom in last night's episode.
The opening of tonight's show started with Meena and David getting dressed after she had nominated him for a community award for his bravery.
Fans were distracted during the scene as Matthew Wolfenden delivered his lines with a croaky voice as the character continues his recovery..
However, viewers of the show on Twitter claimed that the wound shouldn't have impacted his ability to talk.
One fan said: "He's been shot...and it has affected his voice for some unknown reason."
Another added: "Why does David in Emmerdale talk like he's had a throat operation. He was shot, so why does he need to talk that way!!"
A third commented: "David’s death voice is really annoying me now! You would think he got shot in the throat"
*Emmerdale airs weekdays from 7pm on ITV and ITVHub
