Emmerdale fans spot police error as Noah's fate sealed amid stalking storyline

Emmerdale fans have spotted a police blunder on the ITV soap as Noah was finally arrested for his crimes.

The Dingle teenager had been stalking his ex Chloe Harris, including stealing her keys and sneaking into her house and bedroom as well as flying a drone to take pictures of her and planting a microphone in her room to hear her conversations.

He had also tracked her phone and when she confronted him about it, he tried to get out of it and insisted it wasn't as bad as it seems, without every uttering an apology to Chloe.

Whilst Chloe has been hesitant to tell the police, Amy and the family set about getting the evidence they needed.

Emmerdale fans have pointed out a police blunder as teenager Noah Dingle finally found himself arrested for stalking his ex girlfriend Chloe Harris (ITV)

It caused the huge car crash yesterday, as Amy stole Noah's laptop from right under Charity's nose, giving it to Al who rushed off in the car with it to take it to the police and get the family some justice.

However, adamant to help his family, Cain - who has been locked in a huge feud with Al - decided to chase him, leading to him and his sister Chas Dingle nearly losing their lives when they crashed their car in a horrific accident.

When Al helped Cain get out of the car, the laptop - which he left on the front seat of his car - was stolen by Chas and in tonight's episode, we found out it had been returned to Charity.

All throughout the episode, Charity was unsure what she should do about Noah, as Cain gave the teenager a pep talk and tried to explain to him what he did wrong and how he needed to apologise to everyone for what happened.

As he returned home to apologise to his mum, Harriet Finch walked in and said she would be bringing him down to the police station for questioning, as viewers realised that Charity had decided to report her own son.

However, some fans were distracted by a blunder - noticing that Harriet seemed to be the only police officer in the village.

"The only copper in the village gets about doesn't she, bit like pc Tinker her! #Emmerdale," one fan wrote, as a second added: "Harriet is to Emmerdale what Craig is to #Corrie. The only copper in the village.."

A third shared: "Harriet, the only copper in the village. Must get boring for her, arresting her neighbours. #Emmerdale," with a fourth writing: "Oh hello the only copper in Yorkshire is here, after killing another copper #Emmerdale."

*Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV at 7.30pm.
