However, eagle eyed viewers spotted a blunder with baby Frankie in the ITV soap's most recent episode.

Fans took to social media with concerns over the size of baby Frankie, as despite now being five months old, the baby is still presented as a newborn in a blanket on the show.

The reason being is due to the coronavirus pandemic the cast are having to use a doll rather than a real baby.

The error was raised on social media, with many slamming the perception of baby Frankie as "unrealistic."

One viewer said: ""Please get a bigger doll for baby Frankie. They're holding a newborn size and then when we see a real baby it’s certainly not that small."

A second added: "Baby Frankie never grows."

A third penned: "They could at least use a bigger doll I can’t wait until they can hold real babies again."

While another said: "In most scenes it's so obvious that baby Frankie is just a doll. There's no weight there when people are holding her."

*Emmerdale continues at 7pm on ITV tomorrow.
