Emmerdale fans were left annoyed tonight and spotted a key problem as the identity of Kim's poisoner remained a mystery.
Kim is set to unmask her poisoner this week on the ITV soap, after discovering she was being drugged by setting up secret cameras in her home.
On tonight's show Kim assembled the guests at a special lunchtime dinner party at Home Farm, as she announced she would be stepping back from the business and all Home Farm responsibilities.
Gabby, Dawn, Jamie, Will, Al, Jai were all shocked as Kim made her announcement and told them she now had to decide who was going to take over as her successor.
Al and Jai were first to argue that they were the best candidate for the job, with Al saying he had lots of plans and Jai shooting them down.
Will then joined the conversation and said he wanted to make sure that no one was "taking advantage" of Kim.
Jamie, Gabby and Dawn then decided to put their hats into the ring, as they tried to persuade her to pick them as her heir.
Jamie said he was the only choice as Kim's son, but was soon shot down by the others, with Kim agreeing there were other people in the running.
After lunch Kim told her guests: "I hope you enjoyed lunch, there are many things to consider.
"As a little girl I was taught one has to be very careful around apples and not everyone will get the happy ending they're hoping for.
"Who's willing to go that extra mile to get the prize, which one of you will it be?"
But viewers were left angry that Kim's poisoner wasn't unmasked and that the scenes would be "dragged out" all week.
Jordan Phelps said: "Well this is gonna be one long dinner party."
Chance said: "What Kim has planned better be explosive if it’s going to drag out all week."
Chris said: "Well that was a waste of time."
Dave said: "So after all that we didn’t even find out who is poisoning Kim???"
And Caitlin said: "This dinner party could have been such a good storyline but it's dragging out now."
